This contract will consist of one base year with one option year. The year of issue will include the validation of the Participants Acceptability Test Package for the 1998 tax year. Option year one will include the validation of the Participants Acceptability Test Package for the 1999 tax year. In order to receive an award, an Offeror must have passed both the Electronic Filing Participants Acceptance Test (by December 26, 1997) and the Electronic Tax Document Test (by January 9, 1998), and have been an accepted electronic filer as a software developer, preparer, and transmitter during the 1997 tax year.
