Schick, Contracting Officer, (256) 955-1187 The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command plans to enter into sole source negotiations with XonTech, Incorporated, 6862 Hayvenhurst Avenue, Van Nuys, California 92106, to increase the level of effort for the existing Ground Based Radar Discrimination Analysis and Design contract DASG60-96-C-0163. This additional effort is required because of a program acceleration in the National Missile Defense and Theater Missile Defense programs. The universal level of effort is non-severable from and integral to the effort already under contract and is characterized by both acceleration and intensity. The products of the contract are necessary for successful radar discrimination in support of radar and missile tests and disruption of this support would lead to subsequent duplication of costs.
