78233-6636 99 -- TREASURY MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE SOL F41999-98-R-6004 DUE 061998 POC
Cedric K. Henson (210) 652-6931 ext. 3120 E-MAIL: Contracting Officer,
hensonc@agency.afsv.af.mil. The Air Force Services Agency Cash
Management Branch (Agency) is actively pursuing information about
current Treasury Management Software. While our current system is still
performing at an adequate level, we are looking to purchase a COTS
package to upgrade the system to the current level of technology
available. We would like prospective software vendors to provide
information and costs associated with their particular system to enable
the Agency to replace the current cash management system with a fully
integrated treasury workstation. An overview of our current system
processes and functions is available upon written request. If you would
like to receive the overview electronically, please provide your e-mail
address to the Contracting Officer. We request that prospective vendors
tailor the information they provide to address these specific areas
contained in the overview. Prospective vendors may include other
information about their product, but should keep it tied to the
relevant functions. The pricing information should include both
software costs as well as all costs associated with implementation,
training, and maintenance. We do not expect these costs to be exact,
but rather "ballpark" figures to assist us in our budgetary process.
Information and extended pricing should be provided for mapping the
transaction sets mentioned in the overview as well. The prospective
vendor need only provide standard pricing of resources used for these
efforts as the duration of the implementation is unknown at this time.
It is also requested that prospective vendors provide the optimal
hardware configurations required for their software. Descriptive
literature and information must be received by AFNAF Purchasing Office
no later than 19 Jun 98. This is a nonappropriated fund Request for
Information (RFI). This RFI does not obligate appropriated funds of the
United States Government. Nonappropriated funds are generated by the
military community through the sale of goods and services and the
collection of fees and charges for participation in military community
programs. This project does not involve federal tax dollars. (0145) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0353 19980528\99-0007.SOL)
