The work involves the installation of Government Furnished Property (GFP) and the removal of Asbestos-Containing Material (ACM) and Lead-Based Paint (LBP) encountered during demolition. All work shall be phased in accordance with the plans and specifications. The solicitation will be issued unrestricted with an evaluation preference for SDB concerns. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1711. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed priced requirements type contract. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Invitation for Bid will be issued on or about 24 June 1998.
