R -- DESIGN & PILOT TEST AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN TO ASSESS THE EXTENT OF THEIR HEALTH PROBLEMS SOL HRSA-98-BPHC-B60934 DUE 060898 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with Michigan State University, Department of Medicine, Room B220 Life Sciences, East Lansing, MI 48824. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to design and pilot test a sample of African American Women to assess the extent of their health problems. The contractor shall: develop a proposal for the project; develop a pilot survey instrument and data collection plan; pilot test the survey instrument; conduct the pilot survey; analyze the data; and submit a draft and final copy of the findings of the study. The Michigan State University, Department of Medicine, is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is one year.
