Seattle. Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award
Contract For Remedial Activities For The States of Washington, Oregon,
Idaho and Montana. The Seattle District is soliciting proposals for
multiple award, multi-year contracts to perform multidisciplinary
Hazardous, Toxic and Radiological Waste remediation projects and other
related Environmental Compliance, Abatement, Prevention, Minimization,
Restoration and Improvement Projects in support of both military and
civil funded programs in our four state geographical region. Examples
of the types of projects anticipated include but are not limited to:
contaminated soil excavation and disposal, asbestos and lead based
paint abatement, tank removals and system upgrades, facility efficiency
upgrades, water treatments, pollution prevention and waste minimization
projects and habitat and wetlands mitigations. Three Indefinite
Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contracts are anticipated to be awarded as
a result of this solicitation. As requirements develop, Task Orders
will be issued on a competitive or sole source basis to the awardees of
this solicitation at the Governments option. Awardees may also compete
with other sources (e.g. 8(a) contractors) for projects. Projects may
range from remediation, based on provided design documents both formal
and informal to design-build remediation projects. Projects may be
simple to highly complex in nature. Each contract will include a base
year and two option periods. Maximum value of all work awarded under
the MARCs will be limited to $4 million per period and $12 million over
the life of the contracts. There are on minimum and maximum Task Order
limits established under the MARCs but no single Task Order will
exceed the contract period limit. Solicitation will be available o/a 12
June 98 at no charge per set. No individual sheets are available.
Documents will be issued on a first come, first served basis until
supply is exhausted. No phone requests accepted. Refer to RFP
DACW67-98-R-0033 when ordering. Requests Must be in writing and must be
received before RFP documents will be mailed. Requests may be FAXed to
(206) 764-6817 or sent via eMail to
plans-room-cenws-ct@usace.army.mil. An additional confirmation copy
need not be mailed. The solicitation may be picked up from the plans
room Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM.
Submit requests by 9 June 98. Standard Industrial Classification Code
8744. Project is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. A concern
is considered small if its number of employees do not exceed 500.
