The work includes an extensive replacement with new sloping concrete floors to drains, and a total removal (including floor slab) and remodel of the present locker/shower areas. Mechanical system, both plumbing and HVAC, are being replaced and upgraded. Fire sprinkler system will be adjusted as required for the remodeled area. Electric and lighting systems are being totally replaced and upgraded, including new pad mounted transformer. Steam pipe asbestos removal will be part of the work. Acquisition will be through competitive negotiation procedures with qualified offerors. The areas of evaluation and their relative rank order is stated in section M of the solicitation. The government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and will provide the best value to the government considering Price and Past Performance. Performance period for this project is 175 calendar days from notice to proceed. General working hours are weekdays, 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. excluding federal holidays. This SIC code is 1799. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 and shall be bid lump sum. There is no Government Furnished Materials for this project.
