INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) TASK ORDER CONTRACT FOR
GENERAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS Contact Patricia Crom (760) 939-4423.
Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Task Order Contract for General
Construction Projects. The projects will be at China Lake, California.
This IDIQ contract acquires construction projects such as renovation
and repair work (including demolition), hazardous material abatement
and site improvements. It is anticipated that three contracts will be
awarded as a result of this solicitation. The total fee for the three
contracts shall not exceed $3,000,000 in one year and no single task
order will exceed $100,000. Projects to be accomplished under this
contract will usually be small to medium in size with costs ranging
from $2,000 to $100,000. The firms selected are guaranteed a minimum of
$25,000. Individual firm fixed price task orders for work to be
performed will be awarded to one of the three contracts based on the
lowestprice/technically acceptable offer. Each contract will be for a
period of one year with four Government option years for the same basic
services. Each option year is limited to the same fee restrictions as
the base year. Expected start dates are 1 August 1998. Notice to all
contractors: A Pre-Proposal conference is tentatively scheduled to be
held at the Naval Air Weapons Station at 1:00 p.m. on the afternoon of
Wednesday, 24 June 1998. The job walk/site visit will be held at 1000
hours on 24 June 1998 so that prospective contractors may attend the
job walk/site visit and the pre-proposal conference on the same day.
Before the job walk/site visit you must notify the Officer in Charge of
Construction by phone at (760) 939-4423 of your intention to attend the
site visit. Additionally, you must comply with the following
requirement and obtain an OFFICIAL VISITOR S BADGE. Anyone arriving
late or without the proper badging will not be permitted to participate
in the job walk/site visit. There will be no exceptions to these
requirements. To obtain an Official Visitors Badge you must FAX the
following information to the Naval Air Weapons Station Badging Office
(760) 939-3996. The information must be provided on/or before the
Friday preceding the Tuesday of the site visit. A picture ID is
required at the time of badging. Information required is as follows:
Name; Solicitation Number (N68711-98-R-3149); SSN; Drivers Lic# and
State of Drivers Lic#; U.S. Citizen status or Alien Card #; Vehicle
Information of Make, Model, Year, Color, License Plate Number and State
of registration; Date of Visit and Area of Visit (Mainsite).
Performance is at the Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake,
California. Evaluation factors, listed in descending order of
importance, are as follows: (1) Past Performance/Experience; (2)
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS, SMALL
DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS CONCERNS AND WOMAN OWNED BUSINESS CONCERNS; (3)
Geographical Location; and (4) Price. The tentative issue date is on
or about 17 June 1998 with the proposal due date approximately 30 days
later. The SIC Code is 1542. The related small business size standard
is $17.0 Million. Potential proposers should request RFP
N68711-98-R-3149 in writing not later than (15) calendar days after
publication in the CBD. Please note that the Naval Air Weapons Station
will only accept written requests for bid documents. PROSPECTIVE
PROPOSERS SHALL BE CHARGED FOR THE SOLICITATION BASED ON THE COST OF
THE REPRODUCTION OF THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. THE CHARGE FOR PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS IS $25.00. MAKE YOUR NON-REFUNDABLE, CASHIER S
