A written solicitation will be issued upon request. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-98-Q-3HB328. This solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The standard industrial classification code is 7699 and the size standard is $5.0 employees. The requirement is for the following: Provide all labor, material, and services to overhaul four (4) Detroit Diesel 6V-71 engine. Engines to be picked up no later then 1 Aug 98, and returned by 30 Aug 98. Specifications to be provided on request. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
