E-MAIL: none, none. The objective of this procurement is to examine animal model systems and to generate tissue samples as a result of treating animals under defined protocols. Scientists in the Contractor's laboratory shall participate in the design, implementation, interpretation and reporting of study results. The Contractor shall be primarily responsible for the conduct of the studies. The duration of each study will be from one to two years, but may be less. The route of chemical administration is contingent upon the choice of the chemical. Hazardous chemicals, i.e., carcinogens, shall be used in the studies unless otherwise specified by the Project Officer. The Government scientists, in consultation with the Contractor's scientists, shall determine the chemicals and animal model systems that shall be employed. The exact design of each experiment after choice of chemical and animal model shall be jointly determined by the Project Officer and the Contractor.
