The government intends to procure on a sole source basis : The CD-Jukebox management software which requires (1) a blanket license for 115 servers for a period of two years (2)two years of technical support (3) must support the Kubik Jukebox(4) must run under the Defense Information Infrastructure(D11)Common Operating Environment (COE) (5) must not require a dedicated server (6) must be able to customize mount configurations for CD grouping and naming (7) must be able to make all discs in the Kubik NFS mounted and accessible at all times (8) must be able to read ISO 9660,Rockridge,Joliet and MacIntosh HFS formatted CD-ROM'S (9) must be able to record hybrid CD's to include ISO 9660, Rockridge, Joliet and MacIntosh Hfs formatted CD-ROM's (10) must be able to customize data cache configurations (11) must be able to interface with third party applications via a command line. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation, supplemented with information included in this notice. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are applicable and in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) and the Defense Acquisition Circular. It is the contractors responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. No RFQ will be prepared or made available. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on technically acceptable low bids.
