Z -- BOILER PLANT FUEL TANKS REPLACEMENT SOL IFB 527-28-98 DUE 091798 POC Laralee Horowitz, Contracting Officer Provide all necessary labor and material for Project No. 527-98-104 at the VA Medical Center, 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, (1) remove three (3) 600 gallon under-ground gasoline storage tanks (2) remove six 30,000 gallon underground fuel oil tanks (3) provide and install three (3) 25,000 gallon double walled fiberglass underground storage tanks (4) provide and install new fuel oil supply double walled piping etc. in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications. All work shall be performed in compliance with NYSDEC, USEPA and VA regulations. Standard Industrial Classification is 1711, Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning. This solicitation is issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to both large and small business participation. Construction cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Completion time for project is 180 days. Request for bid packages must be made in writing or faxed to 718-630-2969.
