COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MAY 22,1998 PSA#2101STANDARDIZATION HVAC INFORMATION MEETING The Corps of Engineers
Louisville District is conducting a market research survey to determine
the most suitable acquisition package to purchase standardized HVAC
equipment for it's military and civil customers in Ohio, Indiana,
Kentucky, Illinois, and Michigan. Before the District develops a
document or solicits offers we will conduct a information gathering
meeting on June 10, 1998 at 0900 local time in Room 856, at the Federal
Building, 600 Martin Luther King Place, Louisville, KY to determine the
best approach to present such a package to suppliers/manufactuers of
HVAC equipment. All suppliers/manufacturers and installers of HVAC
equipment are invited. During the meeting we plan to determine: 1. If
potential offerors are capable of satisfying the Government's need? 2.
If potential offerors are available to respond to the solicitation
package? 3. If potential offerors are engaged in standadization
programs with other customers? 4. If standardization can be
accomplished with current products on the market? 5. If offerors can
meet delivery time requirements? 6. What are the requirements for
energy efficient products? 7. What are the expectations of warranties
and discounts? POINT OF CONTACT: KEITH ROGAN (502)798-9716 Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0538 19980522\SP-0006.MSC)
