SPAWAR Systems Center, San Diego requires RF mechanical, technical and engineering services to support and maintain the Navy Extremely High Frequency Satellite Program (NESP) and Land Based Test Facility (LBTF). Mechanical engineering support is required for subsystems and test facilities including antennas, support structures, weight and balances analysis and air conditioning analysis. Technical and engineering support will include component system analysis and design, product development and testing, mechanical engineering support, component system integration, installation, testing and evaluation. The systems may consist of voice, data, and video communication systems that are responsible for establishing, maintaining, monitoring and controlling link at high frequency, very high frequency, ultra-high frequency and extremely high frequency. The anticipated period of performance is one base year and four option years for a total estimated 45,500 hours. The contract will be awarded on an indefinite quantity, cost plus fixed fee basis.
