The Corps of Engineers has a need for a supply contract for fabrication, painting and delivery of one set of miter gates (2 gate leaves, 33'-7" in height) for a 56-foot wide lock chamber. The work includes fabricating the gate leaves from steel structural shapes, plates and other materials, with welded and bolted connections. The work also requires non-destructive testing of welds, and painting and delivery of the gate leaves. The gates are to be delivered to the Pittsburgh Engineers Warehouse and Repair Shop, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
