The work, in general, consists of removing existing lightning protection systems and installing new lightning protection/static grounds and associated equipment. Performance period is 100 calendar days. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment complete in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bid opening date of 9 July 1998 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $25,000 and $100,000. For your information, funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to payments under a contract.
