Requirements type contract with fixed price provisions for labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation to perform drayage services of government-owned furniture for U.S. Navy Housing Areas on the island of Oahu. Drayage destinations include, but are not limited to, the following areas: Camp H. M. Smith; Naval Station, Pearl Harbor; Ford Island; Iroquois Point; Naval Magazine Lualualei; Naval Computer Telecommunications Area Master Station, Eastern Pacific; Camp Stover; and Naval Air Station, Barbers Point. This requirement will be solicited using commercial procedures set forth in FAR Part 12. Contract period: 01 September 1998 through 31 August 1999 plus three (3) 12-month option periods. FAR 52-217-8, OPTION TO EXTEND SERVICES, is to be part of the resulting contract. As such, a period of up to six (6) additional months may be unilaterally added to the end of the contract period in increments as determined by the Contracting Officer.
