AMI-American Management, Inc., as prime contractor to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has issued a solicitation for provision of A&E Services at HUD-owned and controlled multifamily properties located in a 29-state region of the nation. AMI will accept proposals for the referenced services until June 12, 1998 at 1:00 PM. Services shall include: (1) Comprehensive Surveys and Repair Plans for troubled multifamily properties assigned to AMI under its national contract, (2) Environmental Surveys to include standard ASTM Phase I Environmental Reports and other specialized environmental studies as required, (3) Design Development Services including design of specifications for renovation or demolition of multifamily structures, and (4) Miscellaneous Services to include project management, and other specialized A&E services as required. AMI shall conduct a technical utilizing the following criteria: (1) staffing capabilities of the firm in performance of A&E services relating to the renovation and demolition of multifamily structures, (2) current firm capabilities in performance of A&E services relating to renovation and demolition of multifamily structures, (3) past performance evaluation factors including prior successful completion of similar contracts. Multiple awards may result from the solicitation based upon use of sub-regional structure although a contractor may be awarded a subcontract in more than one sub-region.
