The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) has a requirement for Quadruple Containers (QUADCON), QUADCON Container Racks, and Horizontal Connectors which are components of the Marine Corps Intermediate Size Container Family (MCISCF). QUADCONs store and transport organizational property and consumable supplies excluding arms, ammo, and explosives. All proposed containers must have International Organizational for Standardization (ISO) configuration and International Convention for Safe Containers (CSC) certification prior to submission of offers. MARCORSYSCOM intends to purchase the following quantities under a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity Delivery Order type contract: contract minimum of 4,000 units, contract maximum of 34,000 units over an ordering period of five years from contract award which is expected to be September 1998.
