germaina@cc.tacom.army.mil. The U.S. Army Tank- Automotive and
Armaments Command intends to acquire a Cooling System for a hydraulic
power supply to be installed in the Physical Simulation Laboratory in
Warren, MI. The system must provide adequate cooling capability to
support the laboratory motion base simulators and provide approximately
10 million BTUs per hour heat removal at 78 Degrees Fahrenheit (F) wet
bulb temperature. The Cooling Tower will be mounted on an 18-foot
structural steel support with a concrete base. Hot water temperature
from the heat exchangers wills not exceed 100 Degrees F and cold water
supply to the heat exchangers from the cooling tower shall not exceed
85 Degrees F. The cooling system will be integrated with a new
Hydraulic Power Supply System, 1750 GPM. Reference solicitation
DAAE07-98-R-Q224 for Hydraulic Power Supply specifications for
integration. Offerors are encouraged to make a site visit prior to
submission of a proposal. Contractors are invited to visist the site on
