The National Endowment for the Humanities is seeking a contractor to provide layout, design, typography, paste-up, and related services for six issues of Humanities, the Endowment's bi-monthly magazine. The contract period will run from October 1, 1998, through September 30, 1999. The solicitation package, NEH-98-HUM, will be available on June 8, 1998, and offers are due to be submitted by the close of business on July 8, 1998. No verbal requests will be honored. The current contract for these services expires September 30, 1998, and there is no option year available. Therefore, this is an entirely new contract and all qualified contractors are encouraged to submit proposals. All requests for copies of the solicitation must be in writing and received at the National Endowment for the Humanities, 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW., Room 202, Washington, DC 20506, by June 8, 1998.
