CBD NOTICE NOTICE TO ALL DISC VENDORS MIL-I-65208, Inspection System Requirements, has been canceled and consequently has been removed from the DoD Index of Specifications and Standards. Effective April 8, 1998, most items which had previously called for MIL-I-65208 will now be governed by QAP-EQ000 which is being issued for Defense Industrial Supply Center (DISC) items only. It allows for the use of commercial inspection systems that meet minimum requirements as specified in the QAP. Current awards that specify MIL-I-65208 can run to completion without being modified.
