The Site Visit has been rescheduled and the new date is May 27, 1998, at 2:00 p.m. This is a combined sysnopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation #98-T-0928 is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-4. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. The recommended Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for the procurement is 1796 with a Small Business Size Standard is $7M. Offerors may propose more than one product that will meet the Government's need. FOB point is Destination and delivery and installation is required within 15 days after contract award. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, and FAR 52-212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of lowest price technically acceptable.
