Contracting Squadron, prazakr@mountainhome.af.mil. This contract is
for a broad range of maintenance, repair, alteration, and minor
construction work on real property at Mountain Home AFB, ID and various
sites. The work is required in support of the Base Civil Engineer (BCE)
activities. The contract will be an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite
Quanitity (IDIQ) contract type performing a wide variety of individual
construction tasks. Means"Pulsar" software and "Means" Master File and
Facilities Construction Cost Data Bases Cost Estimating system (CES),
along with a "Supplement to Means" will constitute the pricing guide
used throughout the term of this contract. During the contract period,
the BCE will identify specific jobs to the Base Contracting Office,
which will issue individual delivery orders to the contractor to
complete those jobs. The contractor will be required to furnish all
materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, and services
necessary to design, manage, and accomplish the job. The contractor
will be required to provide andmaintain a management office on Mountain
Home AFB in order to receive work requests and provide other management
services related to accomplishing individual jobs. Individual jobs will
vary in size ($2,000 -- $500,000) with a majority expected to be small
to medium size ($2,000 -- $100,000). The jobs will include, but not
limited to, tasks in a variety of trades such as carpentry, road
repair, roofing, excavation, electrical, steam fitting, plumbing, sheet
metal, painting, demolition, concrete masonry, welding, HVAC, asbestos
removal, etc. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with
the SABER technical specifications, project drawings, MHAFB
regulations, and contract requirements. The basic contract period will
be twelve (12) months, with four (4) twelve-month options, which may
be awarded at the option of the Government. The minimum dollar amount
for the Basic Contract Period is $150,000, and $150,000 for each Option
Period, if the Government exercises the options. The maximum dollar
value of the contract is $5,000,000 for the Basic Contract Period, and
$5,000,000 for each Option Period, if the Government exercises the
options. The proposed acquisition is reserved for firms with SIC Code
1542 in their SBA approved business plan and who are serviced by the
Distric Offices in Region X of the SBA (covering the states of Alaska,
Idaho, Oregon, and Washington). All other firms are deemed ineligible
