303-677-6446 Contractor shall provide all material and equipment
necessary for the reconfiguration and addition of modular office
furniture. New furniture shall be Manufactured by Teknion Office
Systems. Contractor shall use existing parts (Government Furnished
Parts) to complete the job. The modular office furniture will be for
the 821st Space Group, Buckley Air National Guard Base CO, facilities
T-429, 430 and 431 located within the secured area of Buckley Air
National Guard Base. The furniture shall be reconfigured/installed in
accordance with plans/drawings already existing and provided by the
Governmnet. The contractor shall coordinate for the construction of
parts (to match existing in color and style) delivery to the site,
propose phase in schedule (to be approved by the Government) and
install/construct with minimal disruption of operation. A portion of
the parts identified under this contract are currently stored within
the secured area of the compound, Contractor shall retrieve from our
storage area and use existing parts during reconfiguration. Should
deviation from existing plans be required the Government will provide
a written description of the changes as soon as conditions permit. If
such changes delay the established delivery sequence, the contractor
shall proceed as originally planned and reconfigured office space. The
Contractor shall also adhere to the following: (A) The Government will
not be the receiving agent for the shipment of parts and material from
sub-contracted manufactures. Contractor will coordinate delivery to
staging area of his/her choice and hold until installation schedule has
been coordinated and accepted by the Government. (B) For Government
Furnished Parts the Contractor shall remove from Government designated
storage facility and transport to areas of installation. (C) Order
material for job. (D) Receive/stage material and pre-assemble to the
greatest extent possible until day of installation. (E) Contractor will
coordinate installation date with the Government Point of Contact
(POC). (F) Upon completion Contractor will remove any/all furniture
parts not used. All workstations/furniture assemblies shall be fully
functional. (G) Government POC will provide Contractor with escorts
when necessary. (H) Assembly shall take place Friday at close of
business (COB), Saturday and Sunday for furniture designated to go into
modular. Otherwise installation can be conducted during regular work
