Steam piping system for underground installation as follows: (a) 4"x37'
steam line with 4 ea elbows, (b) 4"x50' steam line with 4 ea elbows,
(c) 4"x160' steam line with 5 ea elbows, (d) steam condensate piping
system for underground installation, 1-1/4"x60'line with 4 ea elbows
(e) steam condensate piping system, for underground installation 2
"x37' condensate line with 4 ea elbows, (f) steam condensate piping
system, for underground installation 1 x 160' line with 5 elbows and
expansion loop, (g) pump, duplex, condensate receiver, return system,
with 35 gallon cast iron receiver, combination float switch and
alternator, 208v, 1 PH, 60 HZ., MAX HP. 1750 RPM motors, capacity of
pumps shall be for 12 gpm. @ 20 PSIG discharge pressure.,(info provided
in specs)., (h) pump, duplex, condensate receiver, return system,
outdoor installation, with vertical pumps and tefc motors, 30" diameter
x 36" deep cast iron 110 gallon cast iron receiver for inground
installation in a 6" concrete pad. Combination float switch and
alternator, each pump 208v, 1PH, 60HZ., max 3/4HP. 1750 RPM motors,
capacity of pumps shall be for 15gpm. @ 20 PSIG discharge pressure.
Vendor shall take field measurements (after award) verifying: (a) size,
length and direction of system; (b) locations of manhole and /or valve
boxes; obstacles that must be avoided along path; (d) other pertinent
general information as noted on NAVFAC drawings number 5308028,5308035
and 5308036. For site visit please contact contracting officer phone
850-452-4615. A letter of acceptability issued by the Federal Agency
Committee on Underground Heat Distribution Systems will be provided by
the supplier. A letter signed by the representatives of Federal
Agencies participating in the committee and stating that the suppliers
system is approved for use for the site groundwater conditions,
operating temperature and soil classification. After award and before
fabrication all drawings and calculations shall be approved by code
400, Navy Public Works Engineering Department,Pensacola, FL. All
drawings and calculations submitted by the vendor shall have a
Professional Engineers stamp. Vendor to furnish shop drawings and
details for installation of complete prefabricated Class-A steam system
as per NAVFAC drawings number 5308028,5308035 and 5308036 (a)
Prefabricated class-A steam and condensate system, system will be
