Ton, 16 foot bed, hydraulic press brake for use in forming metal plate
into irregular and structural shapes in accordance with the
specifications contained in the solicitation. The brake must meet the
following requirements: 10' 6.5" minimum clearance between housings,
minimum 225/230 ton capacity throughout the stroke, capability of
punching with die sets at 2/3 the machine tonnage, throat clearance of
14" from the ram centerline, 16" ram stroke, stroke repeatability of
+/- 0.001", ram tilt adjustable +/- " of the ram centerline, bed
referenced ram position sensors, automatic bed leveling, auto crown,
portable foot and palm controls, true centerline loading, heavy duty
ram inserts, recessed ram die clamp bolts, and automatic centralized
pressure lubrication system. The system must include a computer
numerical control unit. The Hydraulic Press Brake System shall be a
"Turn Key" system requiring all associated equipment to be assembled,
installed, set-up, and tested by thecontractor in the area designated
by the requiring activity. Training in accordance with the
specifications shall be provided. Technical data submitted shall
include: preliminary installation plans, manuals, spare parts lists,
PCB certifications, OSHA certifications, MSDS and Material
Lockout/Tagout data. Delivery is desired during the period of May 1,
1999 and July 1, 1999. Delivery terms will be FOB destination, Puget
Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA. Notes 12 and 26 apply. All
