The National Park Service has prepared a prospectus which seeks offers to provide food service from sidewalk carts for the public at four locations in Pennsylvania Avenue National Historic Park, Washington, D.C. These are new National Park Service food concession opportunities. Food service carts have successfully operated on Pennsylvania Avenue for over 10 years. It is the intention of the National Park Service to award each of the four permits to separate businesses or corporate entities. This prospectus sets forth the terms and conditions under which the concessioners shall provide such service for a period of approximately four (4) years commencing on the date of execution. Each concessioner is required to provide a food service cart that meets the standards described in the permit. There are no existing concessioners with a preference of renewal . Current vendors at the proposed concession sites are authorized under a short-term special use business permit with no right of renewal. All responsiblesources may submit a offer which will be considered. All offers must be postmarked or hand-delivered on or before 07/10/98 at 4 PM, local prevailing time. (0128)
