The Government proposes to acquire 74 pairs of Longbow handgrips necessary to make the Target Acquisition Designation System/Pilot Night system (TADS/PNVS) compatible with the Model AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopter. The intended source is Mason Electric Company, San Fernando, CA, which is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the handgrips. The authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. The Mason Electric Company part numbers are 722-0405, left handgrip, and 722-0406, right handgrip.
