In brief, the project involves: installation of new beams and columns, strengthening of glue lam beams using lumber and steel reinforcing, strengthening of columns and column caps, additional steel beams, removal, repair and/or replacement of portions of the roof structure, and all incidental work as defined in the plans and specifications. Performance time of contract is 120 days. Estimated cost: $1,200,000 to $1,400,000. Solicitation packages may be obtained from McSquared, Inc., 1235 E. 4th Avenue, Olympia WA 98506-4201.
