Dean, Contracting Officer Commercial Sources Sought: The Air Force Development Test Center (AFDTC) is attempting to locate sources capable of providing or developing a high-quality terrain database for the Eglin AFB, land and water areas. This terrain database will be used in the Central Control Facility of the Freeman Computer Sciences Center. The terrain must be in a Multigen Open Flight format to be compatible with Vega software. Multiple resolutions of this terrain database are required. The entire Eglin land and water areas are required in 25 and 10 meter resolution and selected areas are required at 5 meter resolution. The 10 meter database should be composed of multiple files so that the windowing capability of the large area database manager of the Vega software can be fully utilized. The terrain must be colorized to reflect the colors of the terrain features of Eglin. A contract award, if any, will only be made if a responsible offeror can supply the needed terrain database within 30 days of contract award. Note: 25 applies.
