This project shall be to furnish all labor, materials, transportation, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform interior and exterior painting at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport RI. The project consists of a base period plus two (2) twelve-month option with minimum of $70,000. The SIC Code is 1721 and the business size standard is $7.0 million. The proposed contract (solicitation) will be issued as unrestricted and is subject to evaluation criteria set forth in DFAR 252.219-7008 -- Notice of Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns, Construction Acquisitons Test Program (APR 1996). There will be a charge for plans and specifications, however at this time the dollar amount has yet to be established. This Pre-Invitation Notice does not serve as your request for plans and specifications.
