combined CBD/Snyopsis originally published on April 24, 1998 for
Radioactive Waste Disposal. The following are questions and answers
regarding this action: 1. What are the isotopes of concern associated
with the material? Answer: Co-60, Cs-137, Ag-110m, Zn-65, Sb-124. 2.
Would disposal at Envirocare of Utah become an option if the wastes
were treated to their WAC? Answer: No. 3. Does NIST's waste transport
permit with South Carolina include burial at both the Chem Nuclear
facility at Barnwell, and the on-site disposal facility at DOE Savannah
River Site? Answer: The LLRW to be disposed of under this solicitation
is not authorized to be disposed of at any DOE facility. 4. Are any of
the waste streams considered RCRA Hazardous or Mixed Wastes? If so,
please provide profiles of the contaminants. Answer: No. 5. Provide a
rough curie content of each lot. Answer: This information is in chart
