Gibby, (703) 810-4683 The On-Site Inspection Agency (OSIA) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed-price purchase order to Hewlett-Packard Company, Rockville, MD, for maintenance and troubleshooting support services to be performed by Hewlett-Packard Europe BV. Services include: (1) remedial maintenance and troubleshooting support on an "on-call" basis for mobile chemical laboratory systems which include the following Hewlett-Packard (HP) components: 5890/5890E Gas-Chromatograph; 5972/5972A Mass Selective Detector; 5500CS/5700CTX OmniBook Computer; ion gauge controller; and associated HP-supplied software; (2) on-site services to be performed at the United Nations Special Commission on Iraq (UNSCOM) Baghdad Monitoring and Verification Centre (BMVC); (3) spare/replacement parts; (4) remote application hardware/software assistance from the HP Response Center in Atlanta, GA; and (5) unlimited telephonic support and material (software) updates from the HP Response Center in Amsterdam. Purchase order will provide for one base year plus two one-year options. Anticipated award date is 12 May 1998. The total not-to-exceed price including base year and both options is $57,738. Hewlett-Packard is the only known source: with an established worldwide service capability; with authorized, trained technicians to provide required services and parts on-site at the BMVC; and with the capability to provide full-time telephonic hardware/software support. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested persons may identify their interest and capability for future consideration by the Government solely for the purposes of obtaining information and determining whether to conduct a future competitive procurement.
