The acquisition includes Contract Line Item Number(s): 0001, 1 each, Motor, pump, 400 horsepower, 3600 RPM, 4160 volt, on a 500s frame motor. Installed at Bldg 8107, Booster No. 1, Edwards AFB, California. The contractor will be required to modify existing motor frame for proper footing and to mate the motor's shaft to the existing pump shaft. The shaft alignment will be laser aligned for the closest possible alignment. The contractor will be required to furnish a flex coupling rated for the horsepower and RPM stated above. The installation will be checked for vibration, excessive heat, unusual sound, and proper performance. Desired delivery is 30 Jun 98.
