OWNED & LEASED FACILITIES IN THE STATE OF VA SOL GS-03P-98-DXD-0022 DUE 062398 POC Sean McWilliams (215)656-6399 This synopsis is being issued under the requirements set forth in FAR 19.804-2(c) -- requirements for 8(a) competition. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for general repairs and alterations and all associated design services for Government owned and leased facilities in the State of Virginia. This will be an indefinite quantity design-build contract for projects ranging from approximately $100,000.00 to $200,000.00. The estimated total cost of construction projects to be rodered per year is $200,000.00. Consideration for award is limited to firms registered with the Richmond SBA District Office as 8(a) businesses under SIC Code 1542. If it determined, after receipt and evaluation of proposals, that sufficient capabilities are not available among eligible 8(a) firms, this solicitation may be re-issued under full and open competition. Offerors will be evaluated using the greatest value method of source selection procedures, as outlined in the solicitation. The Government may make multiple awards and anticipates award of between three (3) and five (5) contracts to eligible 8(a) firms. Individual delivery orders may be competed among the selected firms under the contract, unless the Government deems otherwise for a specific task order. The contracts will be for a 1 year/base period and will include four individual 1 year/option periods, to be exercised at the unilateral discretion of the Government.
