Y -- ROAD RECONSTRUCTION, ERFO PROJECT 4B SOL R6-15-98-65 DUE 070198 POC Contact: Charlette MacDonald, 541/957-3233 Road repair/reconstruction on approximately 17.65 miles of Forest Service road on the Tiller Ranger District, Douglas County, Oregon. Work consists of clearing and grubbing, excavation, placement of borrow material, crushed aggregate and riprap, installation of underdrains and culverts, and seeding and mulching. This is a Request for Quotes requiring completion of a questionnaire covering technical capability and past performance; detailed technical proposals are not required. Award evaluation criteria include technical capability specific to reconstruction of aggregate surfaced roads (slump/slide repair), underdrains and rock buttresses and past performance history in addition to price; award may be made without discussions. Estimated start work is mid-July.
