The goal of this research program is to define improved methods of detection of high risk patients and, through long-term follow-up of patients, to determine the effectiveness of various treatment procedures. This acquisition will result in the award of a firm fixed price contract with a period of performance from 01 July 1998 through 30 September 1999. The Government intends to solicit on an other than full and open competition basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements" with GEO Centers, 7 Wells Ave., Newton Centre, MA 02159, the contractor currently developing the database which designs the protocols for education, counseling, and care of Breast Care patients.
