Correction: This action was originally publicized in the CBD on January 5, 1998 to procure Engineering and Technical Support Services under the competitive 8(a) program to meet annual requirements for the U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command, Atlantic (MLCLANT), Norfolk, VA. The new issue date for the solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) Number DTCG84-98-R-3TM001, will be on or before May 31, 1998. A pre-proposal conference is anticipated and its schedule will be identified in the RFP. The RFP will not be issued via electronic data interchange at this time since MLCLANT is not equipped to do so. Copies of the current contract, task orders issued and the Bidders Mailing list will be sent along with the RFP. The work under this contract may be performed at the following locations: U.S. Coast Guard, MLCLANT, Norfolk, VA; contractor's facilities; and, afloat units and shore facilities worldwide to support MLCLANT requirements. "Place of Performance Unknown" -- This contract is subject to the Service Contract Act and the places of performance will not be known until individual task orders are issued. However, Wage Determination Number 94-2543, Revision Number 17, dated 09/01/1997 (North Carolina, Virginia) will be incorporated in the RFP since Norfolk, VA is one of the possible places of performance. Additional Wage Determinations will be requested by the Contracting Officer once proposals are received from participating firms, in accordance with FAR Subpart 22 and 29 CFR Part 4.4(a)(2)(i). All previous requests for the RFP will be honored. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference RFP Number DTCG84-98-R-3TM001.
