61 -- WIRE DISPENSER ASSEMBLY SOL N00406-98-R-5108 DUE 062298 POC Victor Angkico (360)476-0267 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound is soliciting for Wire Dispenser Assemblies, in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 5335287 and its associated drawings in support of the MK 8 Mod 2 torpedo program. The solicitation will be for a base quantity with two option quantities. The base quantity will comprise of 504 each, production units and 18 each, periodic production samples. Five first articles will also be required from unproven sources. A 100% option of the base quantity will be solicited, to be delivered after delivery of the base quantity, and a second 100% option will be solicited for delivery after the first optional quantity. Delivery of the first articles is desired within 180 days after contract award with periodic/production lot deliveries to begin 120 days after first article approval. Each subsequent lot will be delivered 60 days after approval of the previous lot. The solicitation will be issued on or about 22 May 98 with a 30 day closing date as a 100% small business set-aside,SIC 3483. All responsible sources may submit an offer/bid which shall be considered by FISC Puget Sound. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted.
