Services/SAMHSA through the Program Support Center, General
Acquisitions Branch has a requirement to produce two concept papers
that will be used as a basis for determining what needs to be included
in the scope of work for two proposed technical assistance centers.
One center is for the comprehensive community Mental Health Services
for children with serious emotional disturbances and their families
program and one to provide technical assistance at the national level
for Childrens's Mental Health activities as it relates to system of
care. TPwo outlines will be created, one for the National Technical
Assistance Center and one for the Child Mental Health Initiative
Technical Assistance Center, on the content of background papers. Two
background papers will be created. Two focus group meetings will bring
together approximately 20 people to discuss what kind of technical
assistance should be given. A research document will be produced that
will aid in developing the scopeof work for the two centers. The period
of performance for this requirement will be 12 months from the
effective date of the purchase order. This acquisition is being made
utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is 100% set-aside for
small business. All requests for the RFQ must be submitted in writing,
