Gail Cotten, (512)326-6018 D: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Financial Services Center (FSC), Austin, Texas, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with DoxSys, Inc., 4800 Hampton Ln., Bethesda, MD, for continuing software and system maintenance of the Veterans Affairs, Austin Financial Services Center (FSC), Document Management System (DMS). The DMS is central to the FSC operations, and critical to effective accomplishment of their mission. To the best knowledge of VA, DoxSys, Inc. is the sole authorized provider of ViewStar products and related maintenance services for the Federal Government. Any vendor responding to this request shall provide evidence that 1) it is a certified 3rd party provider of the ViewStar software, 2) it has an agreement with Mosaix to sell ViewStar products and, 3) it is able to provide ViewStar related services to the Federal Government. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Responses must include all required evidence, as stated above, to allow this office to evaluate the possibility of the firm to submit a valid proposal. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published.
