The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is contemplating the award of a sole-source contract to Montana State University to provide EPA with independent technical and statistical support on various antimicrobial test-methodology research projects within the Office of Pesticide Programs. The technical and statistical support includes: data analysis, experimental design, collaborative study review and development of performance standards for test methodology research. EPA needs to complete work initiated with Montana State University through the current contract thereby avoiding any interruptions or delays of the ongoing test methodology research in Fiscal Year 1999 and thereafter. Respondents to this announcement should fully explain their ability to provide these support services and should carefully explain their knowledge and experience related to antimicrobial test methodologies.
