This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The only approved source for this solicitation is Allison Engine Co., Indianapolis, IN. FSCM: 63005 Solicitation FD2050-98-Q-46077 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Contract line item 0001 is for 192 EA of Wheel, Compressor 11th Stage. Size/Dimensions: Approximately 16" round; Form/Fit/Function Description: Used in the compressor unit to compress incoming air to be converted into mechanical power; Predominant Material of Manufacture: overall steel. Material is to be delivered to Kelly AFB, TX (FB2059) as follows: 38 EA -- Jul 99, 38 EA -- Aug 99, 38 EA -Sep 99, 38 EA -- Oct 99 and 40 EA -- Nov 99. Inspection and Acceptance are at destination and FOB are at origin.
