10 -- PRODUCTION OF LASER GUIDE TRAINING ROUNDS FOR PAVEWAYI II AND III TRAINING REQUIREMENTS!! SOL N00019-98-P1-AZ009!! The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract with Lockheed Martin Tactical Defense Systems (LMTDS), Kennedy Drive, Archbald, PA 18403. This sole source contract is for Production of the Laser Guided Training Round (LGTR) I and II variants. The LGTR is utilized to provide airwing weapon delivery training for the PAVEWAY II and PAVEWAY III GBU-24 Laser Guided Bombs. Total quantities awarded for this effort are estimated at 5100 of the LGTR Is and 1000 of the LGTR II variant, these quantities include foreign military sales. NAVAIR also intends to procure adapter brackets, updates to the interface control document and associated technical data. LMTDS is the developer of the LGTR and is currently the only responsible source possessing the requisite knowledge and technical expertise required to complete the production and delivery of the systems in a timely manner.
