synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. This announcement/solicitation is
issued as N62678-98-Q-0067 and incorporates provisions and clauses
effective through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03. This acquisition
is a Small Business Set-Aside and the Standard Industrial
Classification (SIC) is 8744. The Small Business Size Standard is 500
employees. Contract Line Items: Unit of issue= Tons, Quanity Not to
Exceed =10,000 tons, Submit the following information; Unit Price per
ton & Total Price (10,000 tons). Provide (5 each) 20 ton (minimum) dump
trucks/trailers for hauling petroleum contaminated soil and concrete
from NSA Memphis in Millington, TN to BFI Landfill. Trip is
approximately one hour from site to landfill and return. Trucks with
operators must be available from 0630-1730 Monday-Friday and 0630-1330
on Saturdays. Equipment Operators must meet all DOT/State/Local
requirements for hauling petroleum contaminated waste. The Government
will load trucks and pay disposal fees at landfill. Work scheduled to
start on or about the first part of June, 1998 for a duration of 21-28
calendar days. Offeror will be given at least (3) three days notice
prior to the start of reqyuirements. The following clauses/provisions
from the FAR are incorporated by reference: 52.212-1 Instructions to
Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, the
Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming
to the solicitation will be the lowest total price to the Government.
52.212-5 Facsimile Proposals; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-
Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to
Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items paragraphs (a),
(b) (6) (7)(8)(9) and (c)(1). In addition, anyone responding to this
solicitaion must provide with their response a completed copy of the
52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.
