The Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) at 4315 Diplomacy Drive, Anchorage, Alaska 99508 intends to procure blood bank services for the beneficiaries of the Indian Health Service (IHS). The Contractor shall provide for provision f blood and blood products to the ANMC. The blood bank shall be licensed as a blood bank by the FDA and be certified by the American Association of Blood Banks. The blood bank shall comply with all applicable State of Alaska laws and shall be under the direct supervision of a physician certified by in clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology. The Contractor shall provide blood and blood products immediately upon request 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. All services shall meet JCAHO and ANMC policies and procedures. These services will be for a base period of one year with options to extend for an additional four one year periods.
