Support (CLS) of the Marine Corps' Riverine Assault Craft (RAC) and
Rigid Raiding Craft (RRC). NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The
U.S. Marine Corps is conducting market research to seek sources,
contract vehicles, technical information, and approximate costing for
CLS of the RAC and RRC. This effort will require the contractor to
provide maintenance/supply support for the Marine Corps Riverine Craft
at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The inventory of Craft includes the
Riverine Assault Craft (RAC) and Rigid Raiding Craft (RRC). The
maintenance/supply support is required to ensure the ability of
operating forces to comply with training and operational requirements.
The Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) period of performance shall be
one year, with four additional option years. The RAC is a modified
commercial 35 foot, aluminum hull, Cummins diesel powered Hamilton
waterjet craft used in the riverine environment. There are 22 RACs to
be supported. The RRC is a modified commercial 18 1/2 foot, fiberglass
hull, dual 70 hp OMC outboard engine craft used in the riverine
environment. There are 71 RRCs to be supported. These systems have
challenged the Marine Corps' ability to support and maintain the
systems to meet operational capabilities. In the performance of this
effort, the Contractor will be required to perform Scheduled
Maintenance including Annual/Semi-Annual Preventive Maintenance (PM).
Contractor maintenance personnel shall perform Corrective Maintenance
(CM), as required/on demand. The Government will provide the necessary
