rosengra@doim.monmouth.army.mil. The United States Army
Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) proposes to modify an
existing contract with Mystech Associates, Inc. to incorporate a new
work modification to design, develop and integrate a "light pen"
interface mode into the CB-LBCS workstation endowing the user with the
ability to draw and create graphics on the computer screen. Mystech
will also be performing the following: Designing, developing and
integrating a "white board" function that is found in the mapping
subsystem of the CB-LBCS workstation, designing, developing and
integrating a collaborative capability between the CB-LBCS workstation
and the FBCB2 workstation via an enabled browser that provides the
user with the following capability: The capability to interchange and
modify overlays, OPORDS, and other database products. This will support
the bidirectional and unindirectional communications. Mystech will also
expand system demonstration requirements to include five days of
hands-on instruction to soldiers at Fort Huachuca. A three-day
demonstration exercise will follow this training and include a
contractor trainer overseeing soldier use on the system. The contractor
will conduct a one-day demonstration of communication functions, ATCCS
interoperability, and all other functions and applications not used
during the three-day soldier demonstration exercise. In addition, the
contractor will also conduct a two-day system demonstration at Fort
Knox. The contractor will spend one day with BCBL-H, MMBL, and other
interested parties, reviewing the lessons learned from the training and
system demonstrations. A requirement now exists to procure spares for
these production units. The period of performance for this acquisition
will be 12 months. See Note 22. (0117) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0004 19980429\A-0004.SOL)
