V -- FLIGHT SERVICES SOL 8098-30 DUE 051498 POC Toni Musgrove, 208/387-5762; fax 208/387-5780 Furnish flight services, fully contractor operated and maintained, consisting of two turbine, minimum two passenger helicopters in support of Idaho Fish & Game calf elk capture. Fish & Game biologists will be capturing and collaring the animals. Capture project consists of two separate projects that will run concurrently. Project 1 will be in the Lochsa area (units 10 and 12). A Hughes 500 C or D type aircraft is required. The helicopter will need to be capable of landing in relatively small open areas in tall brushy terrain. A fuel servicing vehicle is required. Project 2 will be in the South Fork Clearwater River, Unit 15. A turbine minimum two passenger type aircraft is needed. No fuel truck is required as operations will be conducted out of Grangeville, Idaho and fuel is readily available. Both projects will begin approximately May 25 and continue through June 8, 1998.
